About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Data Architect to design, build and implement scalable, cloud-native data architectures for lending operations. This is an exciting opportunity to create comprehensive data flow diagrams and technical documentation, establishing data modeling standards and best practices for transactional, analytical, and regulatory data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement cloud-native data architecture optimized for lending use cases (loan origination, underwriting, servicing, collections)
  • Establish data lineage tracking and impact analysis capabilities, aligned with lending regulations (GDPR, CCPA, fair lending practices)
  • Develop automated data quality monitoring and validation frameworks, including data profiling, anomaly detection, and quality scoring systems
  • Deploy and configure modern data platforms (cloud data warehouses, streaming platforms, workflow orchestration), implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for reproducible environments

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and cloud-native databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools/frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, Kafka, Glue, Fivetran).
  • Solid experience in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including storage, compute, and orchestration services.
