Guidewire Claim Center QA Engineers are responsible for delivering high-quality testing solutions to ensure seamless user experiences.

Job Description

The primary objective of this role is to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, leveraging expertise in software development life cycles (SDLC) and system testing life cycles (STLC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Strategy Development
  • Creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Conducting manual and automated testing, including integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
  • Identifying and documenting defects efficiently, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborating with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to estimate testing effort for user stories.
  • Utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like Azure DevOps to streamline testing processes.
  • Providing regular updates on testing progress and recommending process improvements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, preferably in Guidewire Claim Center.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC principles, as well as Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with testing tools, such as Azure DevOps, and ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities.
