Job Title: Manual/ Automation QA Tester

Department: Quality Assurance Specialist

Industry Preferable - Telecommunication only

Experience - 3 to 6 Years

Location - Gurugram (WFO)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Manual Automation QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for software products. You will collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to test and validate software functionality, identify issues, and ensure that products meet user expectations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications. Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • Bug Identification & Reporting: Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system. Provide detailed defect descriptions and steps to reproduce for the development team. Re-test fixed defects to confirm resolution.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage. Actively participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, providing updates on testing progress.
  • Test Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and update test cases, test scripts, and test documentation to ensure proper tracking of testing efforts. Prepare regular test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role.
  • Experience with testing web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies.
