Senior Platform Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in platform engineering to join our team.

As a senior engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing efficient platforms that drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Windows Server and cloud technologies.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for patch management, server software deployment, and disk space remediation.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in Windows Server engineering, including SCCM, Active Directory, and GPO.
  • Proficient in Ansible automation and scripting (Powershell, YAML) for automation tasks and system integration.
  • Strong problem-solving, change management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.

Additional Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge in AWS and Azure Infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge in scripting like Python.
  • Advanced knowledge in IaC tools Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Good knowledge of version control tools like GIT, Bitbucket or Team Foundation Server.
