Transformative Data Architect

Cvent, a leading event technology provider, is seeking an innovative data architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable data solutions.

About the Role

As a transformative data architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Architecting and delivering end-to-end data solutions on Snowflake
  • Demonstrating deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
  • Applying expertise in Snowflake architecture (compute, storage, security, data sharing)
  • Developing and managing API-based integrations and automation
  • Leading data governance, quality, security, and compliance efforts
  • Optimizing performance and managing costs
  • Overseeing Snowflake infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring
Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/master's in computer science, IT, or related field
  • 4-12 years of Snowflake Data Cloud experience
  • Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture and ecosystem
  • Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts and diverse data structures
  • Expertise in Snowflake native load utilities
  • API integration and automation experience
  • Data governance, security, and compliance background
  • Performance optimization and cost management skills
  • Experience with Snowflake infrastructure management
Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we welcome applicants with:

  • Familiarity with data modeling, Python, Pyspark, and warehousing best practices
  • Exposure to MLOps, AI/ML pipelines, or deploying AI models
  • Snowflake or relevant cloud certifications
