Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing all test activities, including Behavior Driven Development, API testing, UI testing, performance testing, security testing, exploratory testing, and accessibility testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong quality engineering and test management skills, with experience in building and enhancing automation frameworks. They will also have a good understanding of the retail banking domain and requirements.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing dependencies and touchpoints are in place. You will represent Quality Engineering at Scrum meetings and other key project meetings, providing a single point of accountability and escalation for testing within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement all test activities according to the Global Test Strategy
  • Work across all POD activities and support cross-POD teams/Quality Engineering teams in ensuring any testing-related dependencies/touchpoints are in place
  • Represent Quality Engineering at Scrum meetings and provide a single point of accountability and escalation for testing within the team
  • Establish effective working relationships across all stakeholders
  • Provide recommendations to the Product Owner and/or other project stakeholders on product readiness to go live
  • Contribute to overall process improvement of the Quality Engineering discipline
Requirements
  • Experience in building and enhancing automation frameworks
  • Strong quality engineering and test management skill sets
  • Good understanding of Retail Banking domain and requirement
  • Proficiency in Version Control using Git
  • Awareness of DevOps Ways of Working and CI-CD tool knowledge
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants
  • Hands-on experience in Appium, Java, Selenium
  • Desirable: Hands-on experience with REST ASSURED/Karate, REST API, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, TestNG
