Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Big Data EDW Ops Lead to spearhead the central operations of a cutting-edge data platform. This esteemed professional will oversee the strategic management of a complex portfolio comprising multiple big data clusters, ensuring seamless delivery of critical services to business users and regulatory agencies.

  • Foster operational excellence by managing and optimizing a portfolio of 4 large big data clusters built on Hadoop, Cloudera, IBM's enterprise data warehouse, and new-age tools like HBase, Hive, Apache Kafka, and Spark.
  • Ensure adherence to 10 critical IT service level agreements (SLAs) while processing 10 trillion customer data records daily, resulting in 100 business, regulatory, and nodal key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive multi-partner governance initiatives to enhance service quality, ensure compliance with service guarantees, and communicate performance metrics to leadership.
  • Promote process improvements through automation, leveraging AI, ML, RPA, and other technologies to streamline operations, reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR), and foster cost efficiency and business benefits.
Key Qualifications:
  • Experienced technologist with around 12 years of experience in managing Hadoop and Cloudera big data technologies.
  • Proven track record of managing production environments, including high availability, SLA monitoring, performance optimization, real-time ingestions, and data model management.
  • Expertise in driving automation initiatives for incident reduction, process optimization, high availability through cutting-edge technologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
