Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Principal/Subject Matter Expert. This position involves leading and managing consulting engagements with financial institutions, corporates, and insurance companies.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in banking, loan products, and credit risk management. They will be responsible for designing and monitoring project plans, providing updates to business leaders, and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading high-profile consulting engagements with clients across IFRS 9 model development, ECL computation, and credit risk areas
  • Designing and implementing detailed project plans for assigned engagements
  • Providing expert guidance on various loan products and their characteristics to clients

Qualifications for this role include:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field
  • 8+ years of experience in roles related to IFRS 9/IndAS 109, PD/LGD/EAD model development and validation, ECL calculation, and clarity on the IFRS 9 standard and regulatory asks
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, Python, R, and SAS
  • Fluency in English language

  1. Lead and manage consulting engagements with clients across diverse financial sectors
  2. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans for assigned engagements
  3. Provide expertise on loan products and their characteristics to clients
Preparation Required
  1. Understanding of products/exposures in the financial services industry (Banks/NBFC/Insurance)
  2. Demonstrate knowledge about credit risk modelling, PD, LGD, ECL, etc.
  3. Demonstrate experience of various methodologies used for modelling default rates, credit scores, recovery rates, etc.
