Architect and Build the Future

We seek a seasoned Principal Engineer to design and build core distributed systems. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for architecting and deploying foundational backend services that meet rigorous performance and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Foundation Services: Create and operate foundational backend services that form the backbone of our platform.
  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews. Drive best practices in system design.
  • Founder-level Accountability and Impact: Take ownership of complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
  • Solve Complex Problems: Tackle challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and pragmatic problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++).
  • Experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure is essential.
