Barracuda to Microsoft Defender Migration Expert

We are seeking a skilled email security professional with hands-on experience in migrating Barracuda email firewalls to Microsoft Defender for Office 365. The ideal candidate will have expertise in secure email protocols, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and threat detection tools.

  • Plan and execute the retirement of the existing Barracuda email security firewall.
  • Deploy and configure Microsoft Defender for Office 365 features, including anti-phishing, anti-malware, and threat investigation tools.
  • Ensure a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Document the migration process and provide technical knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to align configurations with organizational policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mail flow, filtering, and user access during and after the migration.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience with Barracuda Email Security Gateway and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Exchange Online Protection (EOP).
  • Familiarity with secure email protocols, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, and threat detection tools.
  • Experience managing or supporting email migration projects.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.
