The Role of a Technical Solutions Specialist

As a seasoned technical expert with 5-10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that support business processes in Oracle Agile PLM.

The role involves:

  • Developing Process Extensions (PXs) using Java for Agile PLM 9.3.6 to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Customizing workflows, events, and triggers using the Agile SDK to streamline business operations.
  • Performing unit testing and supporting functional testing to ensure high-quality solutions.
  • Supporting data exchange and synchronization across enterprise systems such as SAP, Visual, Enovia, and maintaining data integrity.
  • Writing technical specifications for customizations and integrations to facilitate clear communication.
  • Providing ongoing support for Agile PLM applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Reviewing and maintaining Agile ACS code and SDK-based customizations to optimize performance.
  • Creating event scripts and Groovy scripts for workflow automation to minimize manual effort.
  • Customizing Agile Web Client UI to improve usability and enhance user experience.
  • Working with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Recompiling and redeploying existing PXs during version upgrades to maintain consistency.
  • Ensuring data completeness and integrity by validating migrated data through bulk data loads or data updates.
  • Analyzing and resolving application errors related to custom PXs, integrations, or performance issues to minimize downtime.
  • Performing log analysis for root cause investigation to optimize solution performance.
  • Optimizing PXs, queries, and scripts to minimize execution time and impact performance.
  • Assisting in load testing for large-scale Agile PLM deployments to ensure scalability.
  • Maintaining documentation for all custom developments, integrations, and scripts to facilitate knowledge sharing.
