Job Purpose
  1. Lead strategic initiatives of the centre.
  2. A dynamic leader with experience in academia, research management, or financial services industry who can drive impactful outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  1. Formulate and execute long-term vision and strategy of the centre.
  2. Develop programs aligned with the centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
Program Management
  1. Support research projects and good publications in financial markets and related areas.
  2. Organize training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
Industry Engagement
  1. Build partnerships with financial institutions and other organizations.
  2. Organize seminars and talks/lectures by industry experts.
Operational Oversight
  1. Manage day-to-day administration of the centre.
  2. Supervise support staff and research associates.
Communication and Outreach
  1. Oversee centre's visibility (online and offline), including publications and website updates.
  2. Represent the centre at conferences and industry meetings.
Desired Profile
  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in academic and/or research institutions, regulatory institutions, financial services companies, industry associations, or other relevant organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage academic and research programs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
