We are seeking an experienced SDET Lead to drive our automated testing processes.

This is a key role in our QA team where you will play a critical part in ensuring the success of our software applications.

To succeed, you must have strong hands-on skills in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks with a deep understanding of software testing principles, debugging, and defect reporting.

Our ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience as an SDET Lead / Automation Engineer, specialising in test automation frameworks within the JavaScript ecosystem.

The successful candidate will be skilled in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript) and experienced in writing and maintaining automated test cases as part of comprehensive test suites.

You will also be proficient in test documentation development (test plans, test cases, checklists, regression suites) to support Agile QA processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and design application testing processes
  • Develop automated testing and problem-solving of various tasks that work towards a development process
  • Advise best practices and optimisations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes
  • Collaborate with fellow engineering leads to develop test plans and create extensive test cases to ensure stable and bug-free delivery
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the application development lifecycle
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement in testing practices
