Merchandiser Management Opportunity

Job Description:

As a Senior Manager Merchandiser, you will be responsible for developing and managing buyer accounts, procurement of orders, and providing inputs to the design team for collections.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage buyer accounts to achieve sales targets.
  2. Procure orders and follow through with buyers to ensure timely delivery and payment receipt.
  3. Provide insights to the design team to enhance product collections.
  4. Establish relationships with buyers to secure orders at optimal prices.
  5. Stay updated on market trends by regularly visiting factories and communicating with buyers.
  6. Keep the office informed about changing market trends.
  7. Monitor buyers' buying patterns and financial conditions.
  8. Provide tentative spot costing during buyer meetings.
  9. Coordinate with production, dispatch, and quality departments to ensure smooth operations.
  10. Remain current with industry best practices.
  11. Possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be highly organized.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in merchandising and marketing.
  • Any graduate; PG/Diploma/Certification in merchandising is an advantage.
