About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Risk and Compliance Lead to join our team at Citigroup. As a member of our Data Governance function, you will play a key role in leading activities that contribute to the definition of the Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework. This includes developing and implementing policy adoption plans, compliance metrics, communications, and training.

Responsibilities:
• Establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders to drive data governance and risk initiatives
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Lead the development and maintenance of data governance frameworks and standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely execution of milestones and provide reporting of potential risks to delivery
• Capture requirements, develop delivery plans, and manage the entire lifecycle of metrics and report production

Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in Banking or Finance industry preferred in a Data Governance/Data Management/Process Engineering or related area
• Strong understanding of data governance and risk management principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
