ERP Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ERP Manager to oversee technology risk management activities in ERP for manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance and managing user access privileges.

  • Ensure business transaction data processing integrity and continuity through effective policies and procedures.
  • Manage ERP user access privileges and passwords.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for manufacturing processes.
  • Take overall responsibility for technology risk management activity in ERP for manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for business continuity.
  • Configure critical fields and validation for manufacturing processes in plants.
  • Integrate ERP with government portal APIs, requiring master configuration and management.
  • Customize legal document output forms as PFI, e-invoice copies, COA, PO, interfacing with customers and vendors.
  • Identify high, medium, and low-priority user issues in daily business processes.
  • Develop and implement MIS reports for compliance, regulatory requirements, and finance needs.
  • Identify user issues that can be solved through frontend and backend solutions and involve service providers when necessary.
  • Ensure security of transactions configuration to prevent backdated updates and unwanted user access based on user roles and privilege levels.
  • Monitor system implementation, support, analysis, application, and data integration, and logical system security.
  • Ensure ERP software is up-to-date with the latest build numbers for GST and TDS compliance, coordinating with service providers and consultants.
  • Troubleshoot all technology issues.

Key Qualifications:

A graduate from a technical background (BE/BCA) or a postgraduate degree (MBA/PGDBM/MCA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP systems, particularly in all modules such as Purchase, Inventory, Production, Quality Control, Sales, Export, Finance, HR Payroll, and Personal.

Required Technical & Functional Skills:

SQL, Excel Pivot, ERP technical modules RDF and DLD, knowledge of tables and fields to access transactional data and master data. Functional modules (Purchase, Inventory, Production, Quality Control, Sales, Export, Finance, HR Payroll, and Personal) with business process knowledge should be there.
