AWS Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced AWS cloud infrastructure specialist to lead the design and implementation of large-scale cloud infrastructure solutions for manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex migrations from traditional data centers to AWS, with hands-on expertise in core AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and Direct Connect.

Additionally, they will possess deep knowledge of hybrid-cloud environments, production constraints, and shop floor systems (MES/SCADA), as well as experience working in manufacturing settings.

Preferred qualifications include direct experience with manufacturing data collection systems like AC4D/Plant Manager and applications like AutoCount, familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems like Radius, and knowledge of regulatory landscapes such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and cGMP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS
  • Lead large-scale migrations from traditional data centers to AWS
  • Develop and maintain hybrid-cloud environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with manufacturing operations
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and apply that knowledge to drive innovation

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on manufacturing environments
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification
  • Hands-on expertise in core AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, and Direct Connect
  • Deep knowledge of hybrid-cloud environments and production constraints
  • Experience working in manufacturing settings with a strong understanding of shop floor systems (MES/SCADA)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with manufacturing data collection systems like AC4D/Plant Manager and applications like AutoCount
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems like Radius
