Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

This position requires a deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, VPCs, RDS databases, and Lambda functions.
  • Develop and monitor automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance, analyze trends, and implement improvements to ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance standards to safeguard cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and reliable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and routing.
  • Familiarity with monitoring platforms such as Data Dog, Orion, Nagios, and WhatsUp Gold.
