Job Title: Quality Assurance Director
OverviewThe organization seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Director to oversee quality assurance processes as it transitions from development to large-scale production.
Key Responsibilities- Safety and Reliability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality strategies for hardware and software, ensuring products meet safety, reliability, and performance standards.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee testing, validation, inspection, and compliance processes to ensure conformity to regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and lead the quality control team to achieve excellence in quality assurance, leveraging expertise in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and AI-powered systems.
- Certifications and Compliance: Develop and implement procedures to drive ISO certifications and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless integration of quality management processes.
- Experience: 10+ years in quality control/assurance, preferably in robotics, automation, or aerospace, with strong expertise in both hardware and software quality management.
- Skillset: Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing is highly desirable, along with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Electronics, or related fields.
