Job Title: Enterprise Data Solutions Architect

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design and build highly scalable data platforms, identify emerging technologies, and deliver reliable data solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly scalable data platforms to support diverse data pipelines.
  • Identify and implement emerging technologies through research and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Deliver reusable and scalable data solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop processes for monitoring, analysis, maintenance, and improvement of data operations and usability.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent software engineering background.
  • 12+ years of experience as a software engineer in infrastructure/data platform/big data.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/GCP cloud services, including GCS/S3 Lambda/Cloud Function, EMR/Dataproc, Glue/Dataflow, Athena.
  • IaC design and implementation expertise.
  • Familiarity with designing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
  • Experience with administering data warehouse solutions and designing enterprise systems on public clouds.
  • Strong SQL abilities and hands-on experience with performing analysis and performance optimizations.
  • Hands-on experience with Python or equivalent programming languages.
  • Experience with data modeling, data catalog concepts, data formats, data pipelines/ETL design, implementation, and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Airflow, DBT, Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), Agile, TDD.
