Experienced MEP BIM Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) for projects.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM protocols, workflows, and standards within the MEP project team.
  • Analyse and implement BIM Execution Plans for deliverables.
  • Document and communicate best practices and workflows.
  • Provide technical support and liaison with BIM Specialists, Modelers, Leads, and Managers.
  • Manage Revit project production and contents.
  • Create families and have expertise in modelling.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models.
  • Lead and manage a team of MEP CAD/Revit Modelers.
  • Ensure quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced.
  • Use Navisworks tools for review, QC, and documentation.
  • Perform QA/QC before deliverables.
  • Provide mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required.
  • Monitor team compliance with BIM standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct project studies and explain to modelers.
  • Act as the point of contact for clients regarding project-related issues.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in design, drafting, and BIM management on large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools.
  • Experience with Navis for coordination.
  • Technical knowledge of MEP services.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibilities.
