Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Maintenance: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot LANs, WANs, and network segments.
  • Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with equipment vendors for configuration standardization and troubleshooting.
  • Firewall Configuration: Ensure optimal performance and security through firewall configurations.
  • Switch Expertise: Maintain a strong understanding of LAN switching technologies, including VLANs, RSTP, ACLs, and Virtual Chassis.
  • Capacity Planning: Develop and recommend network capacity planning strategies.
  • Proactive Maintenance: Plan and execute proactive maintenance for disaster recovery.
  • Network Monitoring: Continuously monitor networks for security, reliability, and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3-6 years of overall IT experience.
  • Proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FortiGate and Palo-Alto firewalls.
  • Strong skills in handling Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei switches.
  • Familiarity with Aruba, Cisco controllers, and access points.
  • Experience with AWS and Zscaler Private Access.
  • Solid knowledge of various network protocols and ports.
  • Familiarity with IPSec, SSL VPN, IDS, and IPS.
  • Prior experience in routing and switching.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
