As a Territory Manager for Acute Care at Medtronic, you will be responsible for managing sales within your defined regional territory. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales revenue through generating orders for our Acute Care & Monitoring products, while representing the organization in accordance with its policies.


A Day in the Life

Achieve volume objectives and key product objectives for both primary and secondary numbers.

Successfully launch new products by executing and implementing them in the area.

Ensure periodic validation and maintenance of customer/account data.

Maintain core customer relationships to ensure continuation of business.

Ensure effective territorial coverage as per divisional standards of customers.

Implement promotional strategies and utilize inputs while keeping Medtronic policies in mind.

Ensure effective distribution by proper dealer management, operations, strategies, and inputs. Also, ensure that channel compliance towards Medtronic policies is completely adhered. Ensure that DSO, POC, etc. are maintained as per guidelines.


Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.

Minimum 3-6 years of sales experience in Concept Selling/Medical Devices Selling is mandatory.

Experience in Distribution Management.

Willing to travel extensively.


Nice to Have

Strong interpersonal skills, with focused people/customer/result orientation.

Strong grasp on the market and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences, etc.

Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges.

Strong analytical skills (to understand local markets and customer needs) in order to develop region-specific plans, strategies, and tactics.

Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding desired results.
