Job Overview

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Process Safety Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in FPSO offshore production facilities, high pressure gas processing systems and oil/water/gas separation facilities.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience in process safety on floating production systems, LPG and LNG Storage and Treatment, BOP.
  • Duties will include creation of process deliverables for conceptual, FEED, and EPC projects.
  • Preparation of hazardous area classification schedules and drawings is also a key aspect of this role.
  • The selected individual will design process safety for production systems, including crude oil, produced water treatment, water injection, and condensate treatment.
  • This will also involve designing process safety for utility systems, such as potable water, sea water, closed cooling water, compressed air, instrument air, nitrogen, flare and vent, closed drain, chemical injection, and fuel gas treatment.
  • Additionally, the chosen candidate will review and provide guidance on discipline engineering and design deliverables, including P&IDs and datasheets.
  • Sizing of flare networks using standard tools like Hysys and FlareNet is an essential skill for this position.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably with a focus on FPSO production facilities.
  • Expertise in hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
