People Operations Intern

As a People Operations Intern, you will play a vital role in assisting with various aspects of our team's daily operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Employee Onboarding: Assist in preparing offer letters, induction materials, and first-day experiences.
  • HRIS Management: Support in maintaining accurate data on Keka (attendance, leave, documents, birthdays, anniversaries).
  • Employee Exit: Help with offboarding formalities, including exit letters and documentation.
  • Policy Support: Help draft, update, and communicate people policies.
  • Event & Engagement: Coordinate book clubs, tech meetups, and casual team check-ins.
  • Compliance & Admin: Assist in documentation, agreements, and maintaining records.
  • Pulse Checks: Collect and summarize employee feedback.

During your internship, you can expect:

  • Month 1: Learn systems, shadow onboarding & admin tasks.
  • Month 2: Own data accuracy, vendor coordination & support events.
  • Month 3: Run onboarding end-to-end, manage ops independently, and provide insights for process improvement.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in college fests, logistics, or admin coordination.
  • Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets skills for managing data and reports.
