Valuation Expert

We are seeking a skilled Valuation Expert to join our team. As a senior associate, you will play a key role in the valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets.

You will be responsible for analyzing historical financial and operating results to explain business trends and identify risks. Additionally, you will assist in the development of discount rates, conduct financial statement analysis, and perform market/industry research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuation of businesses, business interests, and intangible assets.
  • Financial statement analysis, including common size analysis, ratio analysis, trend analysis, and industry comparative analysis.
  • Market/industry research and development of industry growth estimates.
  • Construction and review of valuation and other financial models.
  • Presentation of analyses and conclusions to internal management and external clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience performing work related to fair value of debt, equity, purchase price allocation, and/or goodwill impairments.
  • Advanced degree and/or certifications including MBA, CA, or CFA would be preferable.
  • Comprehensive experience with financial databases, including Capital IQ and Bloomberg.
  • Track record of managing multiple high-stakes projects and delivering under tight deadlines.
  • Functional understanding of financial statements analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in traditional valuation methods, such as discounted cash flow method, guideline public company method, and guidance transaction method.
  • Experience in valuing contingent consideration and valuation for mergers & acquisitions.
  • Ability to travel (if required).
  • Work from home as of now.
