About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Researcher to join our team, specializing in advanced malware analysis and threat detection. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for finding and preventing malicious activity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming malware analysis requests from customers and internal teams, providing timely and accurate results.
  • Develop and maintain effective detection capabilities, adding new threats to our system and improving existing ones.
  • Perform static and dynamic analysis of malware, including infection, propagation, lateral movement, and exploitation techniques.
  • Extract malicious patterns from malware and create effective detection signatures, testing them before deployment.
  • Participate in incident response processes as needed, analyzing incidents, providing remediation instructions, and supporting customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop automation frameworks for malware analysis and efficiency improvements.
  • Propose innovative solutions to address customer pain points and share research findings through blogs and internal presentations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a Malware Researcher role, with expertise in Python, C/C++, or other similar programming languages.
  • Experience with reverse engineering, proficiency in debugger usage (OllyDbg, IDA pro), and understanding of file formats for Windows (PE), Linux (ELF), or macOS (APP, PKG).
  • Knowledge of OS internals (memory, threads, processes, API) on Windows, Linux, or macOS and awareness of global threats, regional threats, and top adversaries/criminal groups focusing on malware.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to learn quickly, and self-motivation to achieve results in a timely manner.
