About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Product Design Team Lead to join our team at Entrata, a leading provider of property management software. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of product designers to deliver intuitive designs aligned with client needs in the real estate industry.
  • Ensure consistency and coherence across Entrata's product portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints.
  • Translate user research findings and business requirements into user-centered design solutions.
  • Create information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts and guide development efforts.
  • Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product design to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Design, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Expertise in human-centered design thinking.
  • Proficiency designing and prototyping in Figma.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to inspire and develop a design team.
  • Strategic thinking abilities to align design goals with business objectives.
  • Experience managing design budgets and resources.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with metrics-driven design and evaluating the impact of design changes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology or a related field.
  • Experience in the real estate or property management industry.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for inclusivity.
  • Expertise in metrics-driven design and evaluating the impact of design changes.
  • Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Slack, Loom, or Jira.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
