Pharmacist Position

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our team as a Pharmacist at Manipal Hospitals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Key responsibilities include:

Daily Tasks:

  • Dispensing medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician prescriptions and hospital policies.
  • Providing medication counseling to patients on proper usage, potential side effects, and any other related information.
  • Monitoring medication therapy for appropriateness and adverse reactions, and making recommendations to healthcare providers as needed.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and medication outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete medication records in compliance with legal and hospital regulations.

Requirements:

  • A Diploma / Degree in Pharmacy and a valid state license to practice as a Pharmacist.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to patient safety protocols.
