Key Responsibilities:

  • Our team conducts patient consultations in outpatient and inpatient settings. Clinical Care involves detailed clinical histories, physical examinations, and differential diagnoses.
  • We order and interpret diagnostic tests (lab, radiology, etc.) to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Day-to-day care of admitted patients includes ward rounds.
  • Assistance in medical and minor surgical procedures follows specialty protocols.
  • In emergency cases, immediate stabilization and referral are provided when needed.
Patient Communication & Counseling:
  • We explain diagnoses, treatment options, and prognosis to patients and their families in an empathetic manner.
  • Counseling on preventive healthcare, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence is provided.
  • Patient concerns are addressed to ensure high standards of patient satisfaction.
Coordination & Team Collaboration:
  • We work closely with senior consultants and nursing teams for coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Liaison with other departments (e.g., radiology, pathology, physiotherapy) enhances comprehensive care.
  • Multidisciplinary case discussions, tumor boards, or ICU meetings are participated in as applicable.
Academic & Administrative Duties:
  • Proper documentation, clinical records, and discharge summaries are maintained.
  • Departmental teaching, training, CME programs, and clinical audits are participated in.
  • SOP development and adherence to hospital policies contribute to the team's success.
  • Quality improvement initiatives and compliance with NABH/JCI standards are supported.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Educational Qualification: MBBS with MD / MS / DNB / DM / MCh from a recognized institution.
  • Additional fellowships/certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of post-PG clinical experience in a hospital setting can vary by institution.
  • Licensure: Valid registration with the State/National Medical Council.
