Operations Logistics Manager Role

The Operations Logistics Manager plays a vital part in achieving customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and error-free documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage comprehensive pre- and post-export documentation across various payment terms, including Purchase Orders, Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Insurance Certificates, Inspection Reports, etc.
  • Strategically plan logistics dispatch plans to optimize transportation costs and secure cost-efficient solutions.
  • Cordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate shipment schedules to customers for efficient execution of export orders.
  • Prepare daily dispatch plans, oversee container placements as per dispatch plan, and ensure timely arrival of containers at the plant for stuffing and prompt release of loaded containers to port to meet vessel schedules and customs clearance.
  • Liaise with government authorities and agencies to ensure compliance and secure necessary approvals and documentation.
  • Review and manage Letters of Credit for export shipments, requesting amendments when necessary to meet compliance standards.
  • Resolve shipment issues, including customs holds, short shipments, cross-stuffing, etc.
  • Attend to customer queries and track shipment to ensure timely delivery of final shipment to customers globally.
