**Procurement Leader:**

As a procurement leader, you will oversee the acquisition of essential raw materials for production processes. This role involves developing strategic procurement plans, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage purchase requisitions, float RFQs as per plan received from planning teams.
  • Prepare comparative quote sheets, negotiate best prices and issue POs as per approval.
  • Ensure timely delivery of material (OTIF), follow up with suppliers and vendors.

**Strategic Procurement Planning:**

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in the raw materials market.

**Supplier Relationship Management:**

  • Identify, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.

**Cost Management:**

  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure financial compliance.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs.

**Quality Assurance:**

  • Ensure all raw materials procured meet required quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

**Inventory Management:**

  • Work closely with Inventory Management teams to ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and reduce excess stock.

**Compliance and Risk Management:**

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks in the procurement process.

**Qualifications & Skills:

  • Masters degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, focusing on raw materials.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices and strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and build strong partnerships.

**Additional Requirements:

  • Experience in the Pesticide industry is preferred.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to raw materials procurement.
