Our organization is seeking a skilled Business Development Specialist to drive growth and expansion in the retail sector. This role will involve developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions that meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in sales, preferably in institutional and corporate settings, with a strong background in networking, negotiation, and presentation skills. A proactive self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment will be highly successful in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify new opportunities, engage with decision-makers, and drive opportunities from initiation to closure.
  • Strategic Outreach: Represent the organization at industry events, network with stakeholders, and position the firm as a trusted partner in retail design.
  • Proposal Development: Create compelling proposals and presentations aligned with client needs, showcasing our value proposition.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the design and project teams to deliver seamless solutions and exceed client expectations.
  • Sales Goals: Develop and execute strategies to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Market Insights: Monitor retail trends and emerging opportunities to keep us ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales, with a strong background in institutional and corporate sales.
  • Excellent networking, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
