Retail Recovery Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and execute strategies to reduce receivables from franchisees and retail stores by 25% within a stipulated timeframe.
  • Maintain daily cash collection deposits from stores and ensure timely settlement of credit card transactions.
  • Oversee cheque and cash pickups for all franchisees, ensuring seamless execution.

Relationship Building:

  • Nurture strong relationships with mall management and landlords through regular interactions.
  • Foster open communication channels with mall management and franchisees to address issues promptly.

Trade Credit and Scheme Management:

  • Approve trade credit notes in accordance with established policies.
  • Monitor promotional schemes and offers to optimize business outcomes.

Showroom and Expense Management:

  • Ensure reimbursement of expenses within the designated timeframe.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers to enforce compliance with processes and policies across the region.
  • Manage franchise portal activities, including installation of EDC machines, cash pickups, insurance, and legal compliance within defined timelines.

Store Closure and Maintenance:

  • Adhere to store closure processes to minimize financial losses.
  • Authorize repairs and maintenance expenses in line with Capex policy and approved budget.

Franchisee Accounts and Legal Compliance:

  • Pursue periodic account reconciliations, obtain signoffs, and secure No Objection Certificates (NOC) as per policy.
  • Verify the availability and validity of all legal certificates and notices at stores.

Store Visits and Support:

  • Conduct fortnightly visits to stores to provide support and guidance.
  • Offer commercial and legal support to stores to ensure smooth operations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
