Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to join our team.

Job Description:

  • Design, build and maintain large-scale data pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming technologies.
  • Develop relational databases with a focus on Aurora Postgres.
  • Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and develop solutions.
  • Document data pipelines and procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, particularly AWS, with experience in services like Aurora/RDS, Glue, Lambda, EC2, S3, EMR, Step Functions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, etc.
  • Hands-on experience building data pipelines using Glue, Python, EMR/Spark, and Kafka/Kinesis streaming.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing relational databases, with a preference for Aurora Postgres.
  • Expertise in writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
