Cloud Infrastructure Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced cloud infrastructure architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based systems.

The job involves implementing and maintaining Terraform and Terragrunt with Monorepo on GitHub, establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, NX, and integrating the pipeline with Unit Testing, Code Quality, Automation Test suite etc.

The successful candidate will manage AWS Organizations, IAM roles & policies, VPC configurations, and ensure security best practices are followed. They will also automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.

The architect will support the infra-architecture for composable commerce solutions leveraging AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, GraphQL, Redis, API Gateway, CDN, and multiple AWS regions. They will work closely with development teams using React/Node.js to ensure seamless API integrations and operational efficiency.

The architect will design and execute migration strategies for transitioning on-prem monolithic applications to a modular, cloud-native architecture. They will implement robust monitoring and observability solutions utilizing AWS-native tools and best practices.

The role requires optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability across distributed environments. The architect must ensure high availability and fault tolerance across multiple AWS regions.
