Market Data Sourcing Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Market Data Sourcing Expert to join our team. As a key member of our sourcing function, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal, client, and supplier stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully sourcing market data services globally, with a strong focus on indirect spend category management. If you have experience in conducting market tenders, benchmark activities, and managing the evaluation across cross-functional teams, we want to hear from you.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet business objectives, focusing on cost savings, quality, and service excellence.
  • Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality market data services.
  • Tender Management: Conduct thorough market research, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate contracts to achieve optimal commercial, products/services, compliance, and contractual outcomes.
  • Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and execute contracts with vendors, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent.
  • General understanding of sourcing operations and tactical buying processes and best practices.
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in indirect procurement and 5+ years in specific category of market data services in an international corporate environment.
  • Experience in reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts with vendors.
  • Familiarity with conducting tenders (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
  • Strong problem-solving, relationship management, escalation management, and influencing skills with a strong customer-service orientation.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with any additional language considered a plus.
