Lead Wireless Semiconductor Product Development Manager

This role is responsible for planning and leading new wireless semiconductor product development from concept through definition, IC design, validation, customer sampling, characterization, qualifications, initial product launch, and closing the project when released to full production.
As a program manager at our company, you will engage early on to help determine effort, resource needs, and schedule to ensure the execution plan supports business requirements and timing. Once a project is approved, you will drive the entire program execution, managing a diverse global support infrastructure and numerous sub-project components that must be planned, monitored, and integrated at different points of maturity into the final platform solution.
Innovative solutions come with technical challenges that we drive with risk assessments and mitigation plans implemented to minimize impact to committed deliverables. Solid anticipation, planning, collaboration, and communication skills are required for successful execution.
Job Responsibilities- Provide leadership for new products from concept to production and market release.
- Collaborate with leaders and individual contributors across functional teams such as IC Design, HW design, Test Managers, SW development, Applications, validation, Operations, and Product Management to create, manage, and execute schedules.
- Organize and facilitate cross-functional activities, nurturing collaboration and ongoing alignment to ensure requirements are met, on schedule, and within resource constraints.
- Create bottom-up program/project plans including WBS, scheduling, resource forecasts, team enablement, and executing using project management best practices and tools.
- Monitor schedule and criteria performance using appropriate tools and techniques to measure progress and health of the program.
- Proactively recognize risks and deviations from plan, create options, and drive approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate and minimize the impact to the program.
The ideal candidate should have 7-9 years of experience in program management or related roles with a proven track record of leading a team and delivering complex, strategic initiatives. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is also required.
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per yearThis salary estimate is based on industry standards for this role and location.
