Job Title: Lead Oracle Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in the Direct Tax IT domain and Oracle EBS/Cloud Financials.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of functional consulting, business analysis, and solution architecture skills, with a proven track record of delivering global IT projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

This role demands deep knowledge of tax-related systems including corporate income tax, tax provision, and transfer pricing.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements related to Direct Tax and Oracle Financial Systems.
  • Design end-to-end solution architectures with a focus on tax compliance, provision, and transfer pricing.
  • Lead and deliver system implementations and enhancements in Oracle EBS / Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Author functional design documents with detailed use cases, scenarios, and specifications.
  • Support tax business users in global environments through implementations, testing, and post-go-live support.
  • Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and review meetings to ensure alignment between stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and developers to validate designs and ensure alignment with best practices.
  • Assist in testing and quality assurance processes to validate functional requirements.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Functional Consultant in a complex IT environment.
  • 5+ years of proven expertise in the Direct Tax IT domain, including systems for corporate income tax, tax provisioning, and transfer pricing.
  • Strong experience with Oracle EBS and/or Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • 5+ years in Solution Design/Architecture with enterprise-grade systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within Agile and Waterfall project delivery frameworks.
  • Experience in working on global tax implementations or projects involving multiple geographies.
  • Proven ability to interface with business application users at all organizational levels.
  • Strong documentation skills including the creation of functional design documents.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, or related field.
