The Reconciliation Senior Associate plays a key role in driving complex problem-solving and integration of deep recon area knowledge with industry standards and practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering, posting, and reconciling payments received by the revenue team
  • Monitoring and managing incoming payments
  • Retrieving and posting remittances from applicable payor websites when available
  • Reviewing remittances for adjustments and transferring balance to secondary or patient responsibility as needed
  • Responding to questions related to payment application and working closely with onshore teams to resolve account variances

To excel in this position, you should have a solid understanding of insurance accounting, strong accounting background, and reporting skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential.

What You'll Do

  • Payment Reconciliation: Gather, post, and reconcile payments received by the revenue team
  • Payment Management: Monitor and manage incoming payments
  • Remittance Processing: Retrieve and post remittances from applicable payor websites when available
  • Adjustments and Transfers: Review remittances for adjustments and transfer balance to secondary or patient responsibility as needed
  • Account Resolution: Respond to questions related to payment application and work closely with onshore teams to resolve account variances
