Job Summary:
Oracle Database Administration RoleWe are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and security of our Oracle databases.
Key Responsibilities:- Database Security
- Design, implement, and maintain database security policies and procedures.
- Database Backup and Recovery
- Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.
- Database Maintenance
- Perform regular database maintenance activities such as tablespace management, datapump, and purging logfiles.
- Database Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and resolve database performance issues, including query response time and other related problems.
- Troubleshooting and Technical Support
- Work with Oracle Support to raise Service Requests (SRs) on various issues and collaborate with development teams to perform general technical troubleshooting.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 3-5 years of experience in Oracle database administration.
- Excellent knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2, Oracle Database 12c, 19c, rman, and Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of Oracle core database architecture and concepts.
- Good knowledge of operating systems like Linux.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
