Job Role: Quality Assurance Leader

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) professional to lead our testing efforts in delivering high-quality solutions for Oracle FLEXCUBE core banking implementation projects. As a QA leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale testing programs, leading teams of testers across various test phases, including onsite and offshore locations. You will collaborate with business, development, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.

  • Developing Testing Strategies: Create comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies for FLEXCUBE implementation projects, encompassing System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Performance Testing.
  • Leading Testing Teams: Manage and motivate testing teams to achieve high-quality results within agreed timelines.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with business, development, and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Review and approve test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate business requirements and system design.
  • Defect Management: Ensure timely defect management, root cause analysis, and closure within agreed timelines.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular test progress reporting, highlighting risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Adherence to Standards: Maintain adherence to SDLC, QA processes, compliance standards, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree with at least 12 years of experience in IT Testing, including 6-8 years in core banking testing projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale testing programs for Oracle FLEXCUBE (FCUBS versions 11.x - 14.x).
  • Hands-on experience in designing test strategies, estimating effort, planning resources, and executing tests.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and modules such as Core Banking, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, and General Ledger.
  • Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, APIs, REST APIs, microservices, and batch processing for integration testing.
  • Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Postman, JMeter) for functional and performance testing.
