Finance Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead end-to-end financial operations, ensuring accuracy and transparency of data across shipments, profitability, and actuals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage cash flow effectively and optimize working capital utilization.
  • Monitor shipments, revenue recognition, and cost allocations to ensure accurate profitability tracking.
  • Record all actuals correctly in the books of accounts, aligning with business and statutory requirements.
  • Implement robust internal controls and audit mechanisms to prevent data manipulation.

MIS & Profitability Analysis:

  • Develop, maintain, and present MIS dashboards and reports on shipments, collections, profitability, and cost structures.
  • Analyze profitability at shipment, vertical, and entity level, highlighting key variances vs budgets/forecasts.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership on margin improvement, shipment performance, and cost efficiencies.
  • Ensure timely reporting across all MIS functions, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Drive accounting discipline across invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and internal reporting standards.
  • Liaise with auditors and internal teams for transparent, manipulation-free reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Chartered Accountant (CA) / CMA / MBA (Finance) with 6–10 years of post-qualification experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in finance operations, MIS, and profitability tracking, preferably in logistics/supply chain-intensive industries.
