Highly skilled professionals are sought after to develop and optimize financial data platforms using cutting-edge tools like Snowflake, dbt, and financial systems integration. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and Finance partners to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines powering critical financial systems, reporting, and compliance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Snowflake Data Engineering: Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions ensuring performance and scalability for finance and accounting workloads.
  • dbt Development: Build and maintain dbt models and transformations enabling clean, governed, and auditable financial data flows.
  • Financial Systems Integration: Implement data pipelines sourcing from ERP and finance systems to support revenue recognition, reconciliations, and accounting processes.
  • ETL/ELT Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain reliable data pipelines and workflows using Snowflake, dbt, and other tools.
  • Data Quality & Compliance: Ensure accuracy, consistency, and traceability of financial data supporting audit and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in data engineering or data platform roles, preferably with financial systems.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, performance tuning, and secure data sharing.
  • Strong SQL development skills with focus on efficiency and maintainability.
  • Experience working with financial or accounting data, translating business requirements into data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows (Git, GitHub, GitLab, or similar).

Nice To Have:

  • Familiarity with Snowflake utilities (Snowpipes, Streams, Tasks).
  • Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Exposure to data governance and compliance requirements in financial reporting.
