Job Overview:

This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless project closeout across various stages, from initial setup through to final turnover. As the Closeout Coordinator- Telecom, you will oversee all necessary steps for successful project closure, guaranteeing compliance with established procedures and timelines.

  • Coordinate all aspects of project closeout, including data management and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with the project controls team to verify the integrity of project information, maintaining accurate records in designated planning tools.
  • Oversee the return of confirmed surplus materials through the RMA process, ensuring timely and accurate recording in warehouse systems and PeopleSoft.
  • Maintain regular communication with the project-assigned Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Support the scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required, serving as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for delivering SAQ CADs to the quality team.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery and forward to the scoping team as necessary.
  • Own the final turnover package, which includes reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by the General Contractor, following up regularly, and suggesting minor corrections or rejecting unacceptable documents for revision.
  • Act as the sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft, new Purchase Orders will be assigned to the Closeout Coordinator as needed in Smartsheet.
  • Manage all JVizion tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
  • Occasionally follow up on punch list items
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience is required.
  • A good understanding of engineering concepts is essential.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are mandatory.
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications is required.
  • Engineering certification in related disciplines is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard materials is desirable.
  • Construction management background is beneficial.
  • Telecommunication Experience of any kind (Broadband, Telecom, Broadcast, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Construction Estimators possess valuable skills.
Education:

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience are accepted.
