Job Overview

The role of Associate Project Manager entails spearheading IT and Managed Services projects from inception to completion.

This position necessitates robust project management fundamentals, hands-on experience with Managed Services delivery, and expertise in Agile methodologies.

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT and Managed Services projects.
  • Drive SLA-driven service delivery with a focus on governance, compliance, and continuous service improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Severity 1 & Severity 2 issues.
  • Develop and maintain 24/7 coverage rosters to ensure uninterrupted service availability.
  • Manage and refine the project backlog, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize work items aligned with business objectives.
  • Anticipate risks proactively, establish mitigation strategies, and address issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain a consistent reporting cadence to clients and leadership.
  • Document all activities with high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, utilizing strong project management principles and expertise in Agile methodologies.

  • Strong foundation in risk management, scope management, stakeholder management, change management, and decision logging.
  • Proven experience delivering projects in a Managed Services environment.
  • Expertise in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ownership and accountability, driving deliverables with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with excellent documentation skills.
  • Strong proactive risk anticipation and mitigation capabilities.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
