Job Title: Deputy Team Lead - Placements
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Lead - Placements to support our end-to-end placement operations. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent data handling abilities, and a strategic approach to employer relations and student placement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and onboard new hiring partners aligned with our programs.
  • Conduct introductory calls, pitch relevant hiring solutions, and close hiring mandates.
  • Coordinate face-to-face meetings, webinars, and strategic discussions with HRs and stakeholders.
  • Plan and execute on-campus/off-campus drives, including logistics, coordination, and follow-ups.
  • Implement HTD models with companies where applicable.
  • Ensure timely CV shortlisting, interview scheduling, and offer rollouts.
  • Own the end-to-end placement process for students-from application to final offer.
  • Track placement targets across programs and ensure timely closures.
  • Support training and pre-placement readiness programs (technical & soft skills).
  • Organize and drive placement-focused webinars, HR-led seminars, and mock interviews.
  • Collaborate with the learning team to align content with current industry expectations.
  • Track student participation and engagement.

Requirements:
  • 3-6 years of experience in placements & operations.
  • Prior experience in EdTech, recruitment firms, or campus hiring preferred.
  • Strong command over MS Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, build relationships with corporates, and manage student queries.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to placement models like HTD.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for resume screening, email automation, or data visualization.
  • Experience in managing placement performance targets and training outcomes.
