Job Title: Data Analyst

We are currently seeking an experienced data analyst to join our team in Chennai.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL, data visualization tools, and statistical analysis, with a strong understanding of database design and business data flows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance for analytical workloads
  • Conduct data profiling, data validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into data models
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and deep dives to support decision-making across product, marketing, sales, and operations
  • Work with engineering teams to define and implement ETL processes, data pipelines, and schemas
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in SQL (joins, aggregations, subqueries, window functions, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation tools
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis and visualization (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Synapse) is a plus
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and workflow tools like JIRA or equivalent
