Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Product Director to lead our apparel innovation efforts. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in product development, with expertise in design, buying, and merchandising. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand consumer needs and preferences, and develop innovative products that meet those demands.

Your primary focus will be on leading the design vision and buying strategy for our apparel lines, ensuring that our products are on-trend, high-quality, and meet our brand's aesthetic and commercial expectations.

You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating costs, MOQs, and timelines to optimize margins and speed to market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the product design and development process, from concept to launch.
  • Developing and maintaining deep understanding of consumer behavior, fashion trends, and market insights.
  • Collaborating with marketing and operations teams to ensure design and buying plans meet growth and profitability targets.
  • Negotiating and managing supplier/vendor relationships to optimize costs and delivery times.
  • Analyzing sales and performance data to refine designs and buying decisions.
  • Mentoring and building a high-performing team of designers and buyers.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ~10 years of experience in D2C fashion design, buying, or merchandising, with expertise in men's and women's wear.
  • A strong eye for fashion trends, consumer behavior, and product innovation.
  • A proven ability to balance design aesthetics with commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.
  • A degree in Fashion Design/Merchandising/Business or related field.
