Job Overview

As a Head of Intellectual Property, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's valuable assets. This position involves reviewing designs for potential intellectual property risks, identifying areas that require mitigation, and implementing measures to strengthen IP culture within the technology and product development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop search strategies and conduct thorough analyses to ensure Freedom to Operate (FTO) and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with legal associates to provide expert patent and competitor portfolio analysis, utilizing advanced tools and data analytics for effective search and analysis of IP.
  • Work closely with IP attorneys to review and recommend FTO decisions, ensuring timely completion of IP tests and reports.
  • Conduct BOM FTO reviews at the product level, implementing best-in-class practices, standardizing processes, and enhancing productivity through digitalization.
  • Plan and execute state-of-art searches across multiple jurisdictions, triggering timely protection of all forms of IP.
  • Maintain confidentiality of IP matters, systematically docket records, and foster a best-in-class IP culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualification in Intellectual Property Law is essential. Holding a WON certificate or being qualified as a Patent Agent is advantageous.
